Centro Church's Father's Day was "wild!" Lol! Sorry...that was really cheesy. In one of our planning sessions the pastor's wife, Deborah Cano, threw out a Where The Wild Things Are theme idea. We were a fan but also thought it would be great to feature some of the men in Eric Metaxas' book, Seven Men, in the design. So we mixed the two and this was our creation. Besides receiving a great gift (below), CentroDads were also able to make a snack pack for the road and grab a cold {root} beer.

We also had families write "thank you" notes, quotes, or stories to/about their Dads and asked them to submit a picture. We placed these notes next to images and quotes of men from Eric Metaxas' book, Seven Men.
Some pre-recorded "Life Stories" by CentroDads were also displayed in the Dad's Fort. Many shared their life experiences in Faith & Fatherhood; ages ranging from new dads to dads with adult children. They sure love being Dads!
